Do these sites that do not take U.S. bettots check I.P. addresses to see if a person if placing the bet from within the U.S.? Thanks!!

Some do, some don't. If Pinnacle looks at IP addresses, they aren't using that information to deny use. Dafa888, however, will not allow you to even log into their system from a US IP address, unless things have changed in the last year or so (been a while since I tried).
