Mo Mummy:

Triple coin treasure:

Both of these games do not say in the help screens that the size of the coin pile affects anything.
(Also, in Mo Mummy, the Mummy's eyes are open or not)

For both games, changing the denom does not change the size of the coin pile.
That tells me the coin pile is not an indicator of how close a bonus is about to trigger.

Also, I've seen the Coin Treasure bonus being triggered when the coin bowl isn't anywhere near full.
(And probably Mo Mummy too)

So how come there's no longer this disclaimer?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

300 spins later, oh look, a jackpot!
I'm guessing there was a software update changing the help screens and maybe the game play. Or maybe they just omitted that language for slot vulture reasons so the casinos don't start 86'ing people for playing the game..

Perceived persistence has now been renamed metamorphic persistence. Either way it shouldn’t even be legal. It’s massively deceptive and bad for the casinos, patrons and AP’s.

No need for such massive deception.

No, big coin piles get ploppies to put in an additional $20 or even $100 thinking the bonus is due

Yes, you are correct, but they don't really care that much and understand how it works/should work. The casinos don't care, Gaming only cares because of decades-old regulations. Do the new agents care or understand why this should not be allowed? I think the old-school agents got it.

How is it bad for casinos, Jon? Honestly, I would have thought "look for big jugs" would have been one of your "advantage plays."

Casinos love perceived persistence because it not only gets people to play longer as they do not want to leave "coins" on the table, but it causes players to increase their wagers because they think they can steal a bigger win when a bonus is "due."

Actual persistence makes it too easy for everyone, including the "ploppies," to recognize when a slot machine is at a worse state. If the free games accumulator starts at 5 and the meter reads 7, no one is going to play it. But it if starts at 5 and says 75, then people want those extra free games.

It’s bad for the industry because it’s blatant false advertising.

Game maker Everi, particularly the game "Lanterns of Destiny", doesn't hide anything in the HELP section, it was surprising to see, for once, in complete detail.

The first being what only some games include like, player cannot influence gameplay by stopping reels. But they also pointed out each game level and bonus games' feature disclosing all features are for entertainment purposes only (#of lit lanterns..etc). They even tell you that the bonus pick round that is very similar like Ocean Majic bubble pick as bubbles floating up the screen, player picks of lanterns has no effect.

Maybe Everi rather not have ploppies beating the shit out of their machines! lol
