I've heard stories that this game is effed to start with after an update awhile back. I for awhile have chosen to Believe it's not true. However on the past 30-40 plays or so I've taken on it the frequency of clover features after acquiring the fifth clover seems to be ridiculously low (as compared to the rate before the 4th clover). I'm talking being down 300+ bets before it Hits for 15*2=30 counting from the time the bar drops. In fact I'd say the average from the time it hits double till it hitting is being down about 100 bets, and the payout being between 30-120 bets.
Am I just suffering bad variance or is this game only good in high RTP markets (NC here).

I've seen Clover Links game in action myself and it always looks both stupid and awful. The payouts are REALLY low like you mentioned. My jaw drops at how bad Clover Links game really is. 😱😳

If it wasn't for the fact that there is no must hit by mechanic like Buffalo link then it wouldn't be that bad, but the 1/10 chance of being 200-400 bets down to hit 25-50 back is disgusting. I mean I was on one last night at 2.5, was down 600 (580 after getting the 5th clover) and when it finally hit it was somewhere in the 40-50 range (after 2x).
But the real question, does the frequency of clover link features go down (reel strip change) after getting the 2x bar down, or am I just witnessing bad variance?
