Quote: fartbothihi friends - I'm looking for something like vp2free or the vegas advantage blackjack survey but for slots. I've been googling around and finding nothing that tells me what machines in what quantities are in what casino. I'd like to know what machines are at a place before going there. Does anything like that exist and if so could one of you awesome folks point me in that direction?

I don't think it exists. Please start one up.
and its just too much leg work. you need so many people to run around to every casino periodically. - in this instance you wouldnt be able to trust public or crowdsourced information as there is always the possibility that a casino can hire people to post incorrect information - although this would help caisnos which is why i have struggled with implementing this ideas
ive also thought maybe that information can be scraped off of their websites but that info is not structured enough and every site would need to be manually parsed anyways
plus the online casinos somewhat have that market locked down ... its easier to coordinate bonuses and affiliate links and what not anyways
Ideally I would like to integrate with a planogram type of system, so that not only do you have lists of which casinos have which games - you literally have a map of where they are.
Obviously, the biggest question is how to monetize it because whoever runs this thing either has to spend A LOT of time establishing and then keeping it up to date - or pay a significant "salary" to someone for doing the leg work.
Quote: fartbotI hit my local spot this weekend with a google form on my phone and it worked well. I wouldn't want to hit the entire floor this way but was there to take an inventory of a particular machine. The google form made it quick and painless. Maybe the way forward is not to try and boil the ocean but instead to provide a platform for folks who are into particular machines to tag those and only those in their local market.

I would think the easiest way would be to walk up and down every isle recording video and then populate your database or spreadsheet at home.
I know of several that are very militant about even simple photos. I have seen significant response to people taking videos, surrounding them with security officers and demanding they delete the footage or face trespassing/banning.
Quote: AitchTheLetterThis of course requires you to be allowed to record or keep the recording should you be caught in an establishment that doesn't allow it.

Wow, I haven't seen that in many years.
For example ill be a casino in two weeks with about 200 slots, however a good chunk of those are large banks of the same machine. I could easily take a couple hours taking pics and uploading them in an album, or some other better medium.
Edit; lol i really should have kept reading the thread... great minds think alike / fools seldom differ.

lol YA BANNED
It’s almost as if you can’t read a conversation and you just picked up keywords and gave us the most likely sentence that we wanted to hear. Odd.
What exactly is regularly updated let’s see if you can answer that
I just realized even though this AI might be a comment on here the computer that manages this identity may respond
Quote: AledkannyI get where you're coming from. It can be frustrating trying to find specific slot machines at casinos. I've been in that same boat before, searching high and low for some clarity.

. While I haven't stumbled upon a comprehensive resource like vp2free or Vegas Advantage for slots, I've found that Slot77 Online offers a wide variety of slots to explore from the comfort of home. Might be worth checking out while you continue your search.
