Quote: BrentNHey all was hoping someone might have an answer I was curious about. On games that have multi sets of reels (like wonder 4) does each reel set have its own independent rng per reel (or possible one for each type of game you choose) or is it shared from one stand alone rng for all sets of reels?
I do not know specifically but if you tell us which state you are in a determination of what type of ring might be possible such as centrally determined results and what not. Also are we talking about any type of Indian casino? If you aren’t talking that specifically then I don’t believe it would be possible to determine this unless some of the slot programmers around here might know.

A slot tech once told me certain machines that are in a bank together can generate random numbers for other machines I don’t know how accurate that is though

i would never rely on what a slot tech tells you

Exactly why I am not claiming it as well I’m just not sure of it so yeah

I am in ks/mo, we do have class 3 machines here at our Indian casinos though. I thought it would be a little weird if 4 reels share one rng and do not operate independently especially in regards to game bonuses on just one reel.

Even on a single game, all reels are chosen independently with a separate call to the rng. All 4 games will use separate rng calls, but that doesn’t mean that the games can’t interact with each other.

Thanks very much for answering, CM! I was wondering myself. I love the Wonder 4 Tower and Tall Tower games. Nice to know they're independent.
