If a person is playing unrated then that person is NOT earning points.
Ergo they are throwing their points away
You cannot steal something thrown away
If you throw away soda cans its not stealing the 5 cent returns if I collect them (even out of your garbage can) and cash them in
(Its not even sacred enough to avoid police protection from warrants - trash is trash)
In order for a person to steal points they would have to both remove the card of the person playing and then insert their card which is quite egregious
Otherwise they are just point hustlers-not point thieves

Someone tried to do something similar to what you said towards the end of your post. He put his card in a complete stranger's Player Card empty slot hoping to steal points from him. The Player implied he had his own Player's Club Card, but just didn't have it in the machine at that time. The Player said he cussed the guy out and broke the Player's Club Card, refusing to let someone get points that should be his. I said Steal, not hustle as hustle is when you ASK the Player if you can get points on your PC. Steal is when you just stick your PCC into a complete stranger's PCC slot without their permission.
Laws vary. If someone takes stuff from MY domestic trssh, they ARE stealing from me up until the point that the trashman takes it. The authorities and police would, of course take no action, but UK law is clear. Now if someone hustles points like that in a UK casino, that could be the criminal act of "obtaining goods or services by deception" but the victim would be the casino and not the player. Again no action would be taken by the police but the hustler could be ejected and banned. So. Nathan is talking crap about the hustler stealing points from the player. It might be annoying or discourteous to hustle but that's about it.Quote: darkozTo avoid hijacking the URcomped thread but still reply to Nathan
