A friend who is a professional photographer had her digital photographs (and photographs of her photographs that were displayed at a gallery) converted into a book that was then published for sale -without her knowledge or profiting from it. She reported it to the local authorities (because the bad guys were local) and law enforcement did nothing about it.

Basically, I think you have to go to civil court and sue someone who has infringed your copyright.

I believe it, but then you combine that with the attempted blackmail and, perhaps, state level revenge porn laws. There might have been a number of laws violated here; blackmail is generally a felony.

In any event, I agree that police would be unlikely to investigate a simple copyright claim. I also wouldn't be shocked for them not to care about a revenge porn case, either, but that probability likely depends on the jurisdiction (read: state) in question.

Seems like most of us treat them like a train crash. Hard to look away from the carnage. But we are not about to go hand out $50 to see the victims’ titties.

What percentage do you suspect will pay the OF monthly fees? We have 200k who came to watch slots that was free. Now it's porn and it's not free.

I have no doubt they had an advisor that gave them some estimates and they assumed it was well worth it.

No, I think they only take a percentage of what you make from subscribers.

If you can successfully apply enough makeup that your best friend wouldn't recognize you, you could work such a site without compromising your identity. Of course you want to look good, not movie monster. Unless there's a call for that look.

I actually really liked her videos at first, and she was making content that was harder to find than today when there's a lot more variety table game players. Then her weird quirks and negative verbiage started to grate on my ears. I started paying attention to her chat and realized what she was doing was getting a rise out of her chatters, which I find a bit scummy. Well I'm one of those "sit around and watch/listen to people play" types, although I think I may be slightly atypical than the normal viewer, but my main motivation is that I'm 3+ hours from the 'nice' casino(cherokee), about 1 1/2 hours from Two Kings(not quite built yet but mainly has slots + some electronic bj/roulette/craps), and I don't get much time off from work to go to either one but I do enjoy gambling to some degree. I can vicariously 'play' through watching streamers. I'm also, so far, lifetime positive for my play and it's helped my wife and I put a down payment on a new house. So there's an incentive for me to watch and learn and genuinely enjoy seeing people play various games. I really enjoy the Gents, even though they're like down $12,000 right now in video poker play. I like that transparency though(I hope they've made 13k+ from the youtube vids). I've also watched some stuff from Roshtein, because he is a fucking hilarious dude. He's the Howard Stern of Slots imho.

Obviously I'm really pissed off about how many kids are getting into gambling through loot boxes and CS Go / Valorant skins and shit. Lot of scummy things on that side of streaming. Overall, I'd say I watch because I can't quickly get to a casino every weekend and play a bit. Who is a 10/10 slot yourtuber, I have yet to see one. It's very rare to see a 10 out of 10 period, let alone a slot tuber.

I agree with the other person that said most of us here are basically watching a train wreck unfold and waiting for the wheels to fall off which I feel is pretty imminent. Sarah should never have added Victor to the forefront IMHO. Her channel was so good when it was just her having fun on slots and table games. She had a LOT of Fans and her Channel was one of the fastest growing YouTube Gambling Videos. But then came Victor and her once VERY lucrative and wildly popular Gambling Video Channel gradually went downhill. I get that Sarah was getting tired of being hit on by creepy people when she already has a Boyfriend, but this could have been done WAY better. A simple,"I have a boyfriend named Victor, and I invited him to be in the front of the camera for this one video. Victor could come on camera, introduce himself, and then NEVER show up in front of the camera again. 💡That would have been WAY better than what ended up happening. 💡

Most of these YouTube gamblers have no system to play and they suffer tremendous losses. Victor can just blame his bad luck, but he makes bad bets, and I don't think Sarah is much better at this.

Actually, I think "Slotlady" and "Victor" would have worked out well if she occasionally hit him with a whip in the casino. That's all you really need.
