I have no idea what to call this title, but the title brings up a few points. I went to the casino bascially to eat tonight and played a little. I heard a machine go off outside the high limit room toward the front (which is rare). I saw this woman (20's I would think), playing what I believe is some sort of a double gold machine. This machine has I would estimate about 7 reels on it. It is a $1 machine and I am not sure how many is max credits but she was playing 45 credits at a time. There were several people watching her from a distance. I watched her go from $3400 or so down to $1100 and the machine went off with another jackpot. I went over and looked and it looked like a $2000 hit. (on the machine if you get all 7's on the entire line you get $1000. She also had a double in that mess,. A long story short, I was told by multiple people that, that was her 8th jackpot on that machine. I saw 2 of them myself done. The guy that told me about the 8 jackpots looked pissed and told her he was watching her. (which is not something I would say for sure). Anyway he acted like he couldn't believe it. I told him that she was doing $45 a hand and it can't be that hard hitting something betting at that high of a limit. (which I don't know why that wasn't in the high limit room, it is at the front when you walk in).
I am not sure how much she lost or what it took to hit those other jackpots. I know for a fact it took over $2000 for her to hit that last one.
Now for questions this brings up:
#1 what is the most amount of "handpays" have you seen someone get from 1 machine at one time?
#2 Greed: how much money do you want to win before you leave the casino? (we are talking about a local, not vegas and a long trip). (she was up $3400 atleast on the machine and continued to keep playing). I walk when and if I am up $1000. (less if I have been there for over an hour).
#3 Can she do a win/ loss statement to offset some of those taxes on those wg-2? For all I know she won $10,000 and threw it all back into the machine I don't know. (i went and ate pancakes and she was still on it when I left. I had to take half the pancakes home).
#4 What is the most amount of money have you seen someone lose after winning? I went to the highlimit room and someone hit a double all mixed 7's on the $25 double gold machine 1 credit. Then he played that machine and lost 40+ credits, at the same time he had a machine occupied on the other side and was up to 38 credits on it and lost it all also. I don't get the point? If you hit a handpay why don't you walk? what are these people trying to do? It is like my friend. He was making $500 a week. He went to the casino and hit $1000 on WOF. Then he ended up losing it and an extra $1000. The $1000 is alot to him but what the hell? Maybe someone can provide some insite on this?

I prefer Waffle House pecan waffles with a large scattered chunked covered topped hashbrown.

Hey krava, the casinos provide buffets to serve people with the same mindset as the player you describe.
Most slot players have no clear win/loss goal, they just keep scratching their greed bone.
When is enough, enough?

Well..... why are you stuck on hand pays- they mean both g it's all relative if I hit a royal on 25 cent denom its less then quads on a 25 dollar denom. Lots of times if someone is playing a higher denom a 1200 hand pay is not the result of a major hit and more a result of the stakes
Walk in with 100 blackjack get up to 150 no different then the person that walks in with 100k and gets up to 150

It isn't just handpays. I was pretty excited to hit 60 credits on the 25c machine last night after not doing very well. I was on double triple stars. I hit a double then blank then triple for 60. If that double would have fell that was a 1/2 line above I would have had 3000 credits. I recently played the VP thing. The best hand I got out of about 10 hands was a straight.

I hate a tad more then half and the half of the pancakes weight atleast 1.5lbs. HEll after I paid $6.95 for the pancakes, then $2 for 1 piece of sausage $2.25 for the drink I am going to get my money's worth.

That reads like the worst math word problem ever written.
$10.17. Is that the right answer?
