A: Not the person only betting $2 instead of $3 at my local.
All 9 "Million Degrees" symbols on a 200 credit bet which pays 25,000X total bet at less than max credits. At max (300) it would have awarded the $1.1M.

Wow - although the RNG may not have generated that as there might have been a millisecond difference in hitting the Max Bet button versus hitting the other button

Johnny has the answer that I tell myself anytime something like this happens. Also, if they were betting $3 the entire time, there would have been a different rng for sure because some wins would have been bigger and would have taken longer to register credits.
However, it is still fun to say what if and laugh at people who "screw" themselves. But i guess they get last laugh with 50k while i raid my piggy bank for a junior bacon cheeseburger. Btw, wtf us up with a JBC costing 1.89 now.

I bought 2 JBC's yesterday on my way to the casino and thought, damn that ripped through a $5 pretty fast. Used to be able to get 3 for less than $5.
Timing is a tough thing. Even if they had turned their attention to a drink server for 50 seconds and then made this play, the difference in milliseconds of their hand travelling to the 200 credit button vs. the 300 credit button would have caused them not to hit the same RNG result.

50k is better than nothing. I'd tip $5 and be on my merry way to the In N Out because I refuse to eat at McDonalds with all the poor peasants now that I have $49,995
