There is a casino that is having a 15X multiplier next month. It is not good on VP, video BJ, or video roulette. I had a thought that a must hit game would be playable at a lower amount with this multiplier. This casino gives free play at $1.25 for every 1000 points. It takes $1.00 in for 1 point. So with this multiplier I would get $18.75 that I could use right away for every $1000 through the machine.
I know this is only 1.875% added to the game but is this enough to drastically move the playable number?
ETA: I think that is wrong. If I convert it to free play and play a 85% game then I guess it is only good for 1.59375%, Amirite?
per PA code here http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/058/chapter461a/s461a.7.html
The minimum payout % in PA is 85%. This casino averages 92%
From the WoO link above and figuring 14% HE then it is playable around $484 on normal point days. Also when WoO has these charts he is not figuring the convertible points to play is he?
Help!!!! I don't even know where to begin to figure this out.

If the house edge is 14%, and according to the Wiz the coin out meter runs at .582%, and your playable number is $484 then it should look like this:
Average hit would be $492.
How much action does it take to move the meter $8?
1/.00582 = 171.82
171.82 X 8 = a total action of $1374.57
1374.57 X 14% = AN AVERAGE COST OF $192.44 TO SPIN OFF THE PLAY
$492 minus $192.44 = $299.56
299.56/1374.57 = 21.79%
21.79% + 86% = a player edge of 7.79%
The easiest way to figure in the 1.875% is to subtract it from the 14% house edge. So figure a 12% house edge.
Using a playable number of $481.30 the average hit would be $490.65 and the math looks like this
171.82 X 9.35 = an average total action of $1606.52
1606.52 X 12% = AN AVERAGE COST OF $192.78 TO SPIN OFF THE PLAY
So you can lower your playable number down to about $481 and your edge would be the same.

Thank you Mickey for the math. One day I will figure out how to do that. I can figure out the ones where the coin in moves the number but the ones where the win moves it is too tough for me.
ONM, I know it is tough to find but I just wanted to be prepared just in case. In my head I was thinking it might be closer to $475. I didn't want to see one at $470 and started to think it might be worth it but wouldn't have enough time to figure it out.

Pretty close to zero, if you're looking for Majors. I found a playable Minor on a $25-$50 once at the casino in question and on the $10-$20 Minor on another occasion.

Can't you use the free play on Video Poker?

yes you can. I was figuring using the free play while playing the game, but yes I guess I would generally use it on VP.
