hi all,
to work out probability of hitting jackpot on progressives (non-capped aka non-mystery aka open-ended) and lacking PAR sheets, is the most effective method simply recording some number of spins and making an estimate based on occurrences of symbols in each space?
how many spins would need to be recorded for a strong confidence level?
cheers!

How precise do you want to be, and how confident is "strong confidence"? For example, you can be 95% sure that you're right to within +-4% after only a couple thousand spins. To be 99% confident that you're right to within less than +- 1% takes many many many more spins.
