If your goal is to suck out as much money as you can reasonably expect then go for 30x1
If your goal is to get the largest payout and damn the torpedoes of variance then go for the 6x5

Yeah if the bonus can be retriggered, pick 30 at 1X. Otherwise, either is okay depending on how much gamble you are looking for.

Aristocrat has a couple games where if you go for the 5 games, the wild card symbol can be multiplied 15x, 30x, or even 88x.
On those games, I go for the 5 free games. Several times, I've nailed the 88x multiplier for some enormous wins. My record I think was around $800 for a 120 credit bet, bonus round.
