Playing $1/$2 No Limit Texas Hold'em today. Get dealt Pocket 4's, get a funny sense a 4 is definitely going to hit on the flop. Bet $10 Pre-flop, one caller. Flop 4,8,9, Caller bets $15, I raise to $45, He calls. Turn, 7, he counts his chips, he has $100 left, I have $62 left, he checks, I know he has either Trip 8's or Trip 9's. I am behind but I get an indescribable feeling things are going to work out. I shove my remaining $62, he calls... Turns over his Trip 9's....River card is dealt..... another 4. He has a full house, I have a 4 of a Kind. Win the pot and an additional $250 for hitting the high hand.
$400 profit in 45 minutes; time to head home...

Bigger question is what did he say when you hit that "two outer"? Sickness....but when it is your two outer, ya just gotta love it!

I turned my cards over on the table, said I got "4 of a kind", got up from the table, was a bit too vocal channelling my inner Marv Albert; YES!!!!
Poker Room Supervisor came over and told me that I was a little too loud. I apologized to the entire table; they all thought it was funny. I felt a bit bad for the dude that had the Full House, he was leading with Trip 9's from the flop but there was nothing he could have done that would have made me fold my Trip 4's. He just kept shaking his head saying...damn!
High hand for the time period I was there today was $250 for the high hand every 15 minutes. Felt like time stood still waiting for the time to lapse so I could get my high hand bonus.
This was the First 4 of a Kind or High hand that I have hit in over a year. Last 4 of a kind that I hit was also Quad 4's but I only had one 4 in my hand and the final 4 hit on the turn the last time. Catching it on the River this time was exquisite. I've never hit a Straight/Royal Flush in my life. I might faint if I hit a Royal.....
