I want to recoommend the daily 45$(50 with add-on) to low-roller players.
Good structure for this price-20 min and if you buy 5$ add-on, you have 150 BB! Actually not bad.
I played there twice, very nice people and atmosphere, not to high level. I busted out twice because of bad luck(runner-runner and a flip). They have about 30 people playing.
Good location in the casino*(but there is one problem), right to the restrooms and non-smoking.

Few drawbacks:
1. 10 seats per table-slightly too high.
2. The area is noisy because of few machines nearby including the noisy "wheel of fortune". As soon as they relocate it, it would be great.

Yes. Because you don't have the opportunity to pick your seat or change tables, most poker rooms are non-smoking. That includes most (all?) in LV.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

I meant that the whole area is clean from smoke, not drifting from the rest of the casino. There are poker rooms like planet holywood and ballys where the poker room is not separated and therefore no smoking at the table, but nearby...

And I read that few locals casinos allow smoking but it is very rare.

Don't tell the world about this little gem. This is a great game.
The last couple of times I have stayed at the Luxor and played I have won / split the prize 8 out of 13 and with the poker comps makes it a great place to play.

Many poker rooms have ways to attract regular players, but several years back, the Luxor had a very peculiar setup. They had a 1/1/2 blind game with a $50 buy-in. This made the game almost impossible to beat, but if you could tread water, their various bonuses (which you had to log hours for) were worth 10-15/hr for, I think, 15 hours a week (it's been a while). I think they eventually shut it down, but it was probably the best low limit play around while it was running.

Tip the dealer $1 buy in for an additional $50 and it was a $99 buy in.

Years ago they had that weekly "free roll tournament". Raking for something like that really screws tourists(not that I care). They never ran the tournament, you just showed up and got the cash. I remember there were lost of bonus slot machine hustlers there playing it. At least during the beginning( playing the semi aggressive) it was worth about $35 an hour. Everyone was playing poker then, and since the stakes were so low first timers would get their feet wet, that was adding extra value to the game.
