Hey guys. Played some cash game Hold Em and lost to some dude holding A9, me holding 99. The flop came AA9. What are the odds that we both hit a full house on the flop? I was absolutely astonished.

There a bunch of smart guys here who can answer your question but it has to be a bit more specific....
Did you mean.....
1. If I have 99 and someone else has A9, what are the odds of us both flopping a full house?
2. If I have 99 and I am playing against a single player, what are the odds of us both flopping a full house?
3. If I have a 99 and am playing against (pick a number here) players, what are the odds I and one of the other players will both flop a full house?
I can answer 1. It is 1 in 5,765.333
The others are a tad above my pay grade
But I'll try.... For number 2, if you eliminate the possibility of your opponent having 99 also and a flop gives you both the same full house, I get around 1 in 147,136. But I wouldn't bet on it!

I guess it would be your first answer. 9 player table, all fold except one guy (and me). I'm holding 99, he's holding A9 (off-suit, if that even matters). The flop comes A A 9. So I hit the full house AA999, & he also hit a full house, AAA99. Was just curious what the odds were of both of us flopping a full house.
