Hi,

can anyone recommend any good tournaments around $100 buy-in preferably Downtown or on the Strip? Either regular or specific ones between June 25th and Juli 3rd.

By good I mean not too steep blind levels and possibly not too low payout percentages?

Also I found out that they are holding $200 side events at the WSOP. Can anyone comment on those?

Thanks!

I agree that this is an excellent resource. In the $100 range, I have enjoyed the tourneys at Caesar's and Venetian. I'm sure the Wynn and Aria tourneys are in the same class. They're typically around 100-150 players, and are structured to last 7-8 hours.

Thank you. The listings unfortunately seem to be out of date (compared with the casino web sites), but it gives an overview.

Play the venetian noon. Its $150, but if you are even decent at poker it will actually save you money. As the juice if fairly low and the structure is pretty good. Plus it will draw more players than just about any other daily tournament.

I played in a few last month. I recommend the $100 tourney at Binion's downtown. I also enjoyed the tourneys at Aria ($175 day tourney, evening tourney was closer to $100). Don't play at Bally's. They offer 5 or 6 thousand in tourney chips for $60 I think, but they start the blinds at 100/200 instead of the conventional 25/50.
