random rotor speed

why is it even needed if roulette isnt a game of skill? why does a random game need to be more random? less than .01% of people are probably willing to bring in a computer with a laser so why? why why why? if someone said to you that you need to introduce something that needs to be imperceptible to humans would you assume they were trying to cheat you because they are being deceptive? what separates deception from cheating?

I think an argument could be made on both sides.
RRS should curtail players making useful predictions.
RRS should also curtail dealers shooting sectors.

"Cheating" here is likely to have a very specific meaning. I believe it involves altering the element of chance so that a specific wager has a nonstandard probability of winning or losing.

Cheating and deception are synonymous in my book ;)

Roulette is not a random game. The inputs of the dealer has a direct correlation to the outcome.

It’s not a banked game and therefore the CASINO can’t benefit off of it. If the casino is benefiting and they are deceptively altering what would have been another result, had that deception not been in play, yes I believe that is cheating.
