Just like Pai Gow, the casino should give us the option of banking the game against other players. They could book the jackpot or trips bet. But again how would the casino make money? There is no juice like Pai Gow. And players still get paid on straights, flushes, etc on their blond hands. That could pose a problem. Gosh so many pplayers who have zero clue how to play, a wasted opportunity.

True. Gotta jump thru a bunch of hoops, but in Florida you can bank UTH at the card rooms, not the NA casinos.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

The average player will NOT make money from a casino in the long run. There are professional gamblers, mostly poker players but not all, who make it their career to play: "Don Johnson won nearly $6 million playing blackjack in one night, single-handedly decimating the monthly revenue of Atlantic City’s Tropicana casino." Maybe half of players are above average, and even they won't. But some of us can make a little money in the long run..... But it's no easy route to riches. Ask Zenking or stabworld, who gave ( are giving ) it a shot.
DJ is a bit of a special case. Even he could not have taken that fortune if he didn't already have a bigger fortune as bankroll. His wealth made him able to negotiate some great rules. The kind of negotiating that normal folk can only dream of.
