Do you old timers remember a game show called Card Sharks? I've seen a few casino games based on the same concept of picking whether a random card/number will be higher or lower than the last one, including the latest one, Super Rally Championship Hi Lo. The object is to go 20 correct picks while you amass as much money as you can along the way. Please click the link to read all the rules and my analysis.
You can also play the demo game.
As always, I welcome comments, questions, and especially corrections.
The question for the poll is would you play Super Rally Championship Hi Lo?

An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar.
The first one says, "I'll have a beer."
The second one says, "I'll have half as much as the one before me. "
The third one says, "I'll have half as much as the one before me. "
And every subsequent mathematician orders half as much as the last one.
Finally, the bartender gives the group two beers.
One of the mathematicians says, "Is that all?"
The bartender then says, "You guys have to know your limits."

A mathematician is walking down the hallway of his university. He looks into a chemistry classroom and sees a wastepaper bin on the floor with a small fire in it. A student in the class takes a beaker, fills it with water from a nearby sink, and pours it on the fire, extinguishing it. The mathematician carries on down the hall.
In another classroom there is a wastepaper bin on a desk with a small fire in it. The mathematician enters, takes the burning bin from the desk, places it on the floor, and turns to leave. A student asks "why didn't you put out that fire?"
The mathematician said "I reduced the problem to one that's already been solved."

Interesting that you cannot bet "Tie". I think this game would be very easy to gaff, especially since the numbers can repeat, which is very unlike "Card Sharks".

That's good! Please forgive me if I steal it. You're welcome to use my two beers joke, not that I was the first to think of it.

Any game at an Internet casino would be easy to gaff, except if they use bit-chains or whatever they're called.

I love Card Sharks! I hope this does necessarily make me an "old-timer!" They still play reruns of the original episodes on BUZZR network. Not sure in which markets BUZZR is available, but we can pick up their broadcast over-the-air.
As for the Rally game, it didn't really strike my fancy. I think I would be more apt to play a game like this if it actually used playing cards.
Is is me, or did the contestants on that show (with a few exceptions) bet too timidly when playing the Money Cards bonus round?

We have it here. Not a huge catalog of episodes though. Currently watching "What's My Line?"
