i did some test on it, i wanna share.

8 shoes,1000 shoes, data from wizard site, i cut them all into 58 hands, because in Macao, they only play about 58 hands(including T).

dragon 7 quanity:
1320.

in average:
43.9 hand 1 dragon 7.

400 shoes,( so even do counting,by the 1000 shoes's result, only bet the shoe which is dragon-once)

another new thing:

as we know, by great Dr Eliot's count: 4567=-1,89=2, trigger at true count=running/4=+4 or above.

because it is too much waitting, i did new test on this. because it is 1000 shoes, the result is only for reference:
trigger at running count: 7, winning: 139 units, max loss: -145.
trigger at running count: 8, winning: 63 units, max loss: -213.
.....(not good)
trigger at running count: 13, winning: 235 units, max loss: -320.
trigger at running count: 14, winning: 61 units, max loss: -406.
trigger at running count: 15, winning: 59 units, max loss: -265.
trigger at running count: 16, winning: 117 units, max loss: -274.
trigger at running count: 17 winning: 162 units, max loss: -172.
trigger at running count: 18 winning: 89 units, max loss: -130.
...
trigger at running count: 22 winning: 162 units, max loss: -78.


also maybe you jump in by middle shoe,( i wanted to blackjack, but hard to get data as i posted in blackjack.). here is what i tested.
cycle only last 3 hands.
if >=5 as trigger: winning: 125 units, max loss: -45.
if >=6 as trigger: winning: -109 units, max loss: -256.
if >=7 as trigger: winning: 39 units, max loss: -86.
cycle only last 4 hands.
if >=5 as trigger: winning: -49 units
if >=6 as trigger: winning: 160 units, max loss: -183.
so not stable, not good. but if you have to, you can try this, at least it is better than doing no coutting at all.
some also bet dragon 7 when last hand is natural.

again: because it is tested by 1000 shoes, the result is only for reference.

That last RC of 22 probably corresponded to a desired TC of 4 or higher.

If you want to bet solely on a running count you need to tweak the count a bit. Stephen How developed an unbalanced count that has an edge without the need for a true count.

i agree with it. but i just often jump in mid-shoe. also in Macao, 58 hands a shoe only , very hard to go to Tc 4. the waiting is just too long. gambling is not fun any more.

Know how to play both Banker and Player you will do pretty damn well. Any other bets you are just kidding yourself.

The most dangerous of all is you actually win on one of these sucker side bets. Then you constantly go chasing them.

Can you teach someone how to "Know how to play Banker and Player?" And when you say "you will do pretty damn well", do you mean you will consistently win money? If that is the case, do you have a 'regular' job in addition to the easy money you make at a casino from bac?

I don't have a regular job anymore since moving to Vegas. This is my second shot coming here. The first time was because I had too much time on my hands and I had to move back to NYC because a couple of my former clients planned to move their assets/family to the U.S. and my old boss needed my help. When back in NYC I was still grinding but on weekends. When that was done couldn't wait to move back here. Now I learn how to turn this into a lifestyle instead of just being a business which can drive you nuts.

Teach someone? Anyone can be taught. The question is the person being taught, does he/she really wants this and how dedicated this person is. Most people think they see and obtain the method/philisophy and just go and print money and money will be falling from the sky. Not so. If you think the bac folks are bad wait until you meet folks going the bj and VP/Slot machine route in wanting to make good coin. Pretty damn well means knowing how to play correctly. Yet there is no one answer to that one. Some folks are happy making $50 an hour and some want $5000 an hour. Some can walk away from a $300 loss and some are willing to go in with multiple buy-ins until they come out ahead.

I did give it a shot in showing people what and how I did when I first started. Was not my intention though but it organically came out from conversation during off times at the tables. What I learned is that knowing and actually doing are two different things. Also met a quite a few snakes. Some actually took what I showed them and trying to sell it on their own. Now all I can say is anyone who has it hopefully it fits your and your psychology and it works for you as a result. If not please do let me know so I can QUIT and open a puppy shop.

After all these years observing first hand about others at the tables, the majority of them are all in it for the excitement. That is why I like... well LOVE Vegas. I can play by myself during off peak times/season and I don't have to constantly deal with other gamblers and sometimes their second hand smoke!

No I don't want to meet other baccarat players. They are all nuts! Very arrogant my poop don't stink attitude to boot.

This is what I have run into and experience. The ones who doesn't know and understand they will laugh in front of your face. For those who do understand but doesn't truly get it will find a way to ridicule you behind your back. Yet filled with some sort of envy and try to get your idea(s) other than asking you up front. Sneaky buggers they are. For those who do understand and get it? They are the good folks and carry the philsophy that good players don't need to hear you and the bad gamblers are not going to listen to you.

After all this time it is much more fun and informative in sharing the lifestyle than the game(s). Like with poker players where to eat and best gyms to work out. Or the good places to live.

i learned just now how to cut decks by exel. finding Eliot's way is still the best.
earning is 462 units after 1000 shoes.
while Stephen'way is also good, not need to do TC. only RC. it is units 401 earning.
(both are at 58 hands).

So, while counting, what do you play? Regular Bac, banker has the edge. Does EZ move the edge to player?
