We're laughing our asses off. It's not random.
Quote: AxelWolfWhat % does the 8 out of 8 add? You could get slammed going for an 8 out of 8. and never hit it, I don't think I have even hit a 7 out of 7 ever.
30000/230000 = 13%. I've hit plenty of 7/7's, but it's not my objective. It's a byproduct of playing for meters on lesser hits.
Quote: MathExtremistIt's dealt from a pool of tickets, but I wonder if it's against the intent of Appendix X2 that the distribution of those tickets is not what you'd normally get from independent keno draws. What was the game and vendor? I've a mind to ask the WSGC.
I'll see if Al can collect some information and get back to you.
I always thought it was funny a class II state offers 8/5 JoB, when they could easily put in 9/6 with the same results, and get more suckers. Surprising enough it was always hard to get a seat on the machines before I knew about non-random games.
There is an advantage play involving Emerald Queen Casino regarding free food, but it's not worth going there for unless you live/work near the area. I swear they are subsidizing the Fife/Tacoma area for gamblers who know how to work the system.

I talked to Al yesterday and he told me some things he didn't tell me in the text. The game is progressive. He texted me when the meter was at $30,000. It's a $1 bet. He said that when he got there in early January the meter was at $12,000. He doesn't know where the meter resets to. I asked him the name of the game and the manufacturer. He couldn't remember but said he will get it and get back to me. I asked him to clock the meter. He hym hawed around about that. He doesn't like sticking his money in a sucker bet even if it's just to clock a meter. He said he would try to count someone down if he gets a chance. And he said that it appeared to him that the meter is very strong because it zings when the bank is getting action.
Discounting out the solid 8 the game would be at 96%. The reset money and the meter speed would tell the rest of the story.
He also told me the game plays slow. People play other than the 8 spot. I asked him if the people playing different numbers of spots moved the meter. I've seen this before. He doesn't know but said he would try and figure it out. We'll see what Al gets back to me with.

The name of the manufacturer is Sierra Design Group, a subsidiary of Alliance Gaming.
