Now that Bovada has increased the waiting time for a payout to 20 days, the better part of a month, why even bother playing here?
They can EASILY get you your payout in the 5 day time frame they used to accomodate you in...
What do you do in the meantime while you're waiting for your payout?
Dump it all back in?
I don't think so...I'm done

I am just waiting for my money. It's been nearly 30 business days. I definitely am not playing anymore until I get it. If I do receive it I will debate whether to keep playing, but I doubt I will. There's no reason to have to wait this long. They certainly can take your money pretty fast.

I just depleted my account with them and I will not be fuding it again. They take my money in a minute but 20 - 30 days to get it back is not acceptable to me.

This is a direct result of the Fed's shutting down Bodog.
Bovada knows the Fed's are watching every move they
make so they're being extra careful. And the customers
are suffering for it.

I am guessing that none of you are playing elsewhere. Once a month I cover payment processing speeds for US facing gambling sites for a large gambling portal. While Bovada is not the fastest, their speeds are certainly within a reasonable time frame when compared to others. The faster casinos/poker rooms charge excessive amounts for withdrawals in most cases to process in half the time.

I doubt this has anything to do with their liquidity. It has more to do with our government's stance on gambling online, and the difficulty in finding processors that are willing to take the risk.

I'm not really interested in why, I just want my money when I request it. The Fed's cracked down because of the processing of payments through the banks. Cut me a check from an off-shore bank and there is nothing they can do about it. In business you find a way to serve your customers or they go away. Look how fast Netflix took a dive. Almost overnight due to one poor customer service issue.

Bank processing is only a very small part of why there was a crack down. For a while Bodog/Bovada did use offshore banks. The problem is that many banks refused to cash them, or by the time the checks arrived to players the feds had caught on and blocked those account's access to the U.S. banks. That made the checks still outstanding bounce, creating a worse situation.

It is exponentially more complicated than you think if you feel it is as simple as cutting a check from an offshore bank.

I am not defending them either. After what Bodog did with their poker room and how their management has acted publicly towards their customers I have little respect for them, but processing is nearly impossible for any online gambling site in the U.S. that is of any significant size. Their cashout times are above average, but yet it seems people are not happy with that. The problem is not Bodog/Bovada, it is the U.S. government. Get that fixed and everything else will fix itself.

Like many of us, I learned the hard way with a decent amount of money still being held by Full Tilt. Anyone in the US who still plays online knows these risks and should play with the understanding you can and probably will have issues collecting. It may be convienent to play at home, but it doesnt help your odds when you have to worry about collecting.

I finally got paid, nearly 60 days after I requested the cash-out. The check is from singapore. That's a long way to send a payment. I had asked the Wiz to look into this and that may have gotten things moving. Thanks to him!

My payout was approved on April 6th and it had to be split into two separate checks. Yesterday, I received the first check, which has already cleared, and today I received the second. They may be slow but they are paying! I'm looking forward to playing on their site once again.

Thanks for the two posts above. I'm glad to see they are catching up on the backlog.

I guess they've never heard of email or electronic transition of data or information. Almost to month to notify your payment company and get a check out? Boy they've pulled the wool over your eyes and you're happy with it...

I've had some very good wins... $6000 on a free $10 April Fool's bonus was worth the wait to get paid. Before that, my payouts were always on time so I'm going to stick with them and give them another chance. The customer support rep, Ray, was very helpful and called me at least twice a week to keep me updated on the status of my payout. I'm not saying that it's ok to put us through this. I'm only stating the facts of my case. I posted solely to let members of this thread know that they are paying.

Gee, what an endorsement....

Ultimately Bovada and Bodog are paying for this site. I've never demanded that anybody play there, but the least you could do is show a little respect for where you are.

Better chance of Jesus showing you his Roulette system.

FWIW I play about 2 to 3 hours a night on Bovada Poker. I used to play PStars a lot before 4/11 at higher denominations. Now I mostly play $20 and under buy in tournies and only keep a few hundred in there but I have cashed a few times and altho it was a while it did show up. Truthfully I have not cashed in a few months. Until laws change i just plan on keeping what I have there and play for entertainment.

Happy to read that...
Hopefully mine will follow soon...
I've been loyal to them for a long time, and though I understand the circumstances, the fact that they never contact me to assure me that things are in motion to get solved bothers me...
They know who the casual players are, and they know who the long time loyals are..The loyals deserve better, and it's really easy to put those loyals in front of the line when things like this happen...
Hopefully this will be a happy ending for all...
