I dunno if anyones brought this up yet or not, and I don't feel like sifting through the entire forum... But I just have to ask...

1. Does the flash based video poker deal any differently than the stand alone software? (Seems 9 out of 10 of my sessions go worse when playing the web based vs the stand alone, but because they "upgraded" the software it is now bloatware and is worthless on my dialup connection so I can only play the web based.)

2. Well I guess I covered it in #1.

I have no problem trusting the stand alone software (downloadable executable), nor do I have any problem trusting Bovada, but session after session, it seems the flash (browser) based video poker does not behave, in my experience, with the way my almost 10 years of video poker experience expects it to. On the deuces wild I have gone twenty hands without a single deuce showing, on a regular basis. I will gladly document each hand in future sessions so I have a record I can show.

I am really just wanting to know if any one else notices any major difference in outcomes between the two platforms? And if so does it fall within statistical norms so I can know if I am just being paranoid or not? :P

Brought this up in the Video Poker thread but yeah out of the three times I played using the web version, it was definitely worse than the download version. In fact in one stretch, I lost 85 out of 100 hands on JoB with the wins being no higher than 2 pair.

I think it is something maybe the Wizard could look into to test the veracity of this claim.

Are you sure?
Can that be documented?

I have never played in Bovada's casino so I take your word for this

That sounds ugly to me
85 or more losses in 100 hands (unless you were really trying to lose)
is about 1 in 10,218,888,594

Don't have any documentations like Hand play or what not. Here is my story on pretty much what happened.

I just know personally I would never go back to the flash version again, unless the Wizard or someone like Pogg did a thorough test or found whatever bug it was and addressed it with Bovada. The differences were just too great.
