At least before the pandemic, I lived usually in casino hotels. The address on my driver license is, well, the local post office.
I was looking into online gambling for income, but even with bitcoin I anticipate people asking for proof of physical address, probably utility bills specifically. Am I wrong?
How could I get around this? How do other homeless people in the USA get their withdrawals from online casinos - without a home?
Sorry if newbie questions. In the 2000s I did lots of internet gambling, limit poker and poker robots, great fun. But I had an address. And a landline!

Go to a UPS store and rent a box. You get a street address as your address and then a dash and your box number. You use your name as the person living there. It just looks like a regular street address to anybody looking at it.

Hmmm sounds good. But i currently use the post office's street address then box number. So the tricky part remains how to get a utility bill ending up in the box... unless some other doc always works...

thought if you do not want your residence address to appear on your driver's license or photo ID card, you may provide DMV with an alternate address in addition to your residence address?

if homeless, how did you get the dmv to list your po box without a residence address?
and with Real ID, can you still do that when you renew your license?

Most of the ones I've run into do not accept a cellular bill. They usually want a water, electricity, cable, gas.

That’s usually because individuals generally don’t have more that one of those and they refer to a physical address where the service is provided.

But most of the time, when they ask for a utility bill, it’s to prove a location of residence.

The OP is looking to prove identity. Cell phone, credit card bills and bank statements should work.

After all, what if you’ve got a roommate, and the rent and utilities are in their name?

Logic says that's stuff should work, and yes, some do except those things. You need to look at the terms and conditions to see what's required.

Because, they don't care if you have a roommate and all that utility bills are in their name. What they care about is taking in the most amount of money possible, and paying out the least amount possible.

Some of these online casinos look for any technicality possible not to pay you, they're not really in the casino business they're in the scamming business masked as an online casino . That's why some have those outrageous terms and conditions. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of very good online casinos that are not looking to play technicality games. They're in the casino business and they do very well for themselves by running a fair game with great customer service.

Perhaps online gambling will be the next big thing. For all I know, it already is. Maybe it's time to just settle down, rent an apartment, and change all the addresses to match - then rest easy knowing all my docs are as totally legit as can be. And once I know what I'm doing online... then comes photoshop.
