1.) unwillingless to pay out on wins
2.) changing the rules of the game after the fact
3.) obscure bonus rules
4.) lack of customer segregation of funds
5.) improbable RNGs
all to name a few.
Given all of this, has anyone tried playing in a regulated online gaming like NJ? Anyone have any info on how the NJ Gaming Commission is protecting customers? Do they require the online game site in NJ to be housed on servers in NJ. Do they require partnership with reputable approved current licensees that have physical operations in the state. What's the 411 here? I'd speculate they have to be more reputable than these offshore promotions.

I feel CET screwed me. I had a thread about it last summer.
I refuse to use a non NJ one.
Never had an issue with a withdraw, match, bonus, or offer. Plus, you can use whatever casino you usually play at and build up comp points and offers for when you visit.
The Law is to have a online casino, it has to be based out of a physcial casino, so all online sites in Jersey, have their physcial location (where you can also go to withdraw your balance in person instantly if you want the cash).
If you live in NJ or another state with similar laws I would advise only using them.
Before NJ made this law I never gambled online because of all the issues on sketchy sites.
Do they send you offers for the B&M casinos, like free play? what kind of action do you give them in a day?Quote: GandlerYes. It is all I use.

Here are the approved gambling sites (19) and some info.

You establish an online account for money transfers. I use my checking account.
Not all credit cards will deposit into accounts.
Withdrawal requests are made on-line. All withdrawals have to be approved. It may take 2 or 3 days for approval. You can't walk up to the casino cage and make a withdrawal without approval first. I have printed out my approval notice and taken it to the cage. You can also have your approval transferred back to your checking account.
Some casinos link your players card. Not all on-line casinos do.
Golden Nugget has on-line live dealers from 5pm to 1am. The games are Roulette Baccarat and Blackjack.

yes, this question
are there sign up bonuses like the foreign based ones do? I seem to hear that poker is the bigger thing, not table games, but if there are no sign-up bonuses, no wonder

Yes. However, it is hard for me to judge, because I also play regularly at the respective physical casinos. So I am not sure if the offers would be as good if I played purely online and not at all in person.
But, they will send you at least some offers if you are 100% online. And, you will earn comp points and comp dollars towards your players card at the respective casino. And, they do have some good bonuses on their online casinos that they always honor.
So yes, you will get mailers from playing online.

Not all casinos link your players card to their on-line casinos. The Golden Nugget is one example. I can't speak of all the others.
When I asked them if they link the players card to their on-line casino, their response was "Not yet, but their working on It."
Well, they've been 'working on it' for three years!
I take it they offer 9/6 and similar returns on VP?
I don't suppose they have a system in place to give online free play, and everything comes in the form of matching bonuses with WR's attached?
Again I would appreciate any information about licensed online casino play. As always anything to sensitive to discuss publicly feel free to send me a pm.
I know some people in the area who have the knowledge and ability to figure it out, however i don't think they would have the time and patience to sit at home and play online. So If someone lives there, has the time and wants to do some experimenting pm me and perhaps we can work something out.
Quote: AxelWolfThanks guys. I'm very interested in knowing more about this, especially if they send mail and or significant bonuses. I have been meaning to look into this since it started. I keep putting it on the back burner. Other than a few interesting rumors at the beginning I haven't heard anything more. Perhaps because there in not much to hear about.

You can check out all of their sites and play demo (not real money) versions of any game that is avaliable with the same odds and rules as the real version, so if you are not currently in NJ that is a good way to scope it out to see what gamea on which sites intereste you for when you come.
To play for real money you have to be within state lines (they do a location check everytime you load up the real money version of whatever game you are playing).
But, to just look and play demos you can anywhere, and you don't need to make an account to check it out.
