It might be the future of online gaming. I wouldn't play it, but I'm not really part of your target audience I don't think.

1) I don't trust online casinos to offer a fair game.
2) I don't trust online casinos to pay me.
3) If I started gambling online it would be a sad day, I don't need to gamble that frequently, nor have it that easily available.
4) Gambling is part of a vacation/getaway for us. The play is an attraction, not the sole reason. Online is still my living room.

I'll just say "this."

Similar to what Mosca said.

I don't gamble on-line at all. In brick-and-mortar casinos, I don't play computerized games that could readily be rigged. (OK, I have played 2 or 3 hands of video poker over the years, but nothing serious.)

In previous posts, I have described why I am suspicious (perhaps overly so) of computerized games and on-line gaming. Here is one of those old posts.

Mosca said it best, same thing here. I have been told by a very wise man on this site that I may miss some opportunities but I am willing to miss a few to save being screwed.

I did play Poker on Bovada and actually won a little money but cashing out was a hassle and the check came from a Canadian Bank. So I had to wait until the check cleared to have access to the money (No Big Deal), but had to pay an International Fee to my bank just to cash it. That just cut into the profit and makes it just not worth my time.

Until someone can prove beyond a doubt that the games are legit, I am not interested.

Think about the world in general today. If there is a way to take a shortcut to making money, many will do it. Too much incentive for someone across the world to not be honest.

Sounds like you expected those type answers from this crowd. Any incite on why many of us are so untrusting of Online Casinos? Do you think it is from bad experiences, being more informed players, a combination or both, or something else entirely.

As someone who knows these online operators like you do, is the fear valid? In my opinion, while a few bad ones might made the whole industry look bad, why risk it?

Thanks for taking the time to share what you can.

Only idiots gamble in an online casino.

That's a personal insult.

It's clear you have no idea what you're talking about regarding online play. You may want to do some research on someone online advantage plays. Research casino-on-net 007 promotion on of the top casino promotions on or offline.

Don't take a bonus. There's lots of online casinos that don't force you to take a bonus.

I wouldn't want to play online without a bonus or +EV because of the extra risks and hassles.

Virtual Reality is becoming more and more publicly accessible with the advances being made with the Oculus Rift, and subsequent developments that will follow. In terms of entertainment, I would be far more interested in enhancements to video games or cinematic experiences than utilizing a potential for duplication of reality.

If I were to use any VR device, I'd be much more inclined to use it with games like Star Citizen, EVE: Valkyrie, Elite: Dangerous, or other space simulators. Visiting a virtual casino doesn't offer anything for me. Nor would I have any desire to spend any money on a virtual casino anyways,

I wouldn't play it.

I did the online gambling during Hurricane Ivan a long time ago while my internet was still up. For some reason, I had expected to get paid on the 3rd day, but it took them a week or so. And - the money was chump change - just a few hundred, so I couldn't understand why it was taking so long.

They told me it was a problem with the banks - it was a while ago, but the only thing I recall is that banks had issues with off-shore casinos.

Once I got my money back - I stopped playing with them. I don't want my account credited in a few days - I want it now. If they can debit my account instantly, they should be able to credit it instantly. I realize there are multiple parties involved and these things can take time - but that's not my problem. When they overcome that issue - then, I'll revisit it.

Until then, it's the brick and mortar casino. Which is find, because I think I really go there for the crab legs and the gumbo.

Now Zuga, are you possibly referring to a virtual reality similar to "online live" games? I.E. I'm in my living room, I put on my VR Headset and now I'm in a "real" casino at the table where I can make my decisions electronically, but see everything played out manually? i.e. You see the shuffles, cuts, decks before playing, etc, etc, quite similar to a real live casino? That might be more intriguing. While harder to accomplish, I would of course do this (if the rules/pen were decent) because then I could count and not even have to travel to the casino physically. Not only that, when your account inevitably got banned you could just create another with another CC or something and do it again and again (i.e. they couldn't actually ban you).

I thought this was what Zuga was after. If he wanted to know if everyone wanted to play online casinos, he could have just asked that.

Only idiots gamble in an online casino.

I'm such an idiot. £10k up overall which I won and checked out without issue. Half of it won at RNG blackjack, which I half expected to be crooked. Only issue I had was that they banned me from exploiting certain bonuses... Which in one sense I was. So be suspicious and careful but they are not all crooks... And we players are not all idiots.
