As always, I welcome comments, suggestions, and especially corrections.
The question for the poll is would you Dice?
Edited to add: scratch that.. not at 10% commission
Unfortunately, I think the best case scenario is they would disqualify you and refund your deposit, worst case scenario is they disqualify you and either keep your deposit or make you do it on something else.
I'd imagine this game probably isn't allowed in the first place, though.
There's a ton of online gambling that people are dumb enough to play.
I have to admit when I seen the tittle (I don't look at the thread posters name) I thought this was another crappy online craps system.Quote: WizardIn my continued progress going through all the Gamesys games, I have found one called just Dice. All the bets are zero house edge but you have to pay a commission on any win when you're done playing.

Quote: tringlomaneKeep in mind this is 10% commission on the NET win. So if you plan to play for a long time, this isn't that bad of a game.
I agree. I think I'm going to run some simulations to prove it.

Turns out I didn't need to run simulations as a spreadsheet was all I needed. Here is the effective house edge by number of bets, assuming the player flat bets any even money bet.
Bets | Net EV |
---|---|
100 | -0.40% |
200 | -0.28% |
300 | -0.23% |
500 | -0.18% |
750 | -0.15% |
1000 | -0.13% |
1500 | -0.10% |
2000 | -0.09% |
3000 | -0.07% |
5000 | -0.06% |
7500 | -0.05% |
10000 | -0.04% |

That's gotta be different for bets with more variance though

Agreed. Here is part of that chart for a 2 to 1 bet with 1/3 chance of winning.
