I just spent about three weeks, off and on, updating my Playtech review. For those who don't know, Playtech is one of the biggest providers of Internet casino software. Please take a look. As always, I welcome all comments, questions, and especially corrections.
The question for the poll is what do you think of Playtech?

the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!” She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Thanks. Can you give me any examples where they are small?

As someone who has made it obvious I don't trust most of the online casinos, I agree with the Wizard that it is not Playtech's fault if someone licenses their games and then doesn't pay. This is assuming there isn't a way for a crooked casino to change the programming to make an honest game dishonest.
My question is more about how they address those situations when the arise. The Wizard states they do not have a mediation department, but do they end the license for someone who doesn't pay winners? Or do they just wash their hands of any involvement with those they sell their product to?

The only time a softare company withdrew a license for a rogue operator, that I know of, was Galewind. I've said it before, and will say it again, kudos to them for doing so. They also paid the player that was stiffed by the casino in question.
Pretty much everybody else says "We're just the software company." They might add that some jurisdictions have an authority in place for player grievances, but such organizations, in my opinion, are flaccid at best. The Gibraltar/Spielo case is a good example.
