Recently won 1100.00 at Bovada. Was a little "iffy" on the whole thing, since it was my first time playing online. Never the less, very excited. Requested a payout, was advised it was gonna be reviewed. To my surprise, i received a fast response. I wanna say within 2 hours. I was approved and my check was going to be mailed. That i would receive it within a few weeks. 3 days later, i received a package from fed ex. It was the check. Now, im a little nervous about taking it into the bank. I dont want to be questioned. Being that it is from Canada. I tried depositing thru the atm and it was rejected, could not read account information on check. So now I have to go in to a teller and deposit. Dont know what to say if they question the check. Does someone have any advise to give. Greatly appreciate it. Also, Just need some reassurance. So many scams out there. Thanks.

Should be fine, the check is from a Canadian bank but is drawn upon a U.S. funds account.

Doesn't matter, you don't have to tell them. They should cash it anyway. There are laws about presentment and acceptance of commercial instruments.

Everything went well, no questions asked. Some of the amount was made available today, the remaining will be available tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help, believe it or not you were very encouraging.

Yes, i read your postings. So, were the funds made available to you right away. Or was there a hold for a few days?

FWIW this late in the thread, in my experience banks seldom ask questions about checks. They're more likely to ask about cash in large amounts, be it deposit or withdrawl.
