Just did my daily Banking Account check and there is a pending transaction from "DOJ-Poker Stars". Except there is no money listed, only $0.00. Perhaps this is a trial run to verify they have the correct checking account. It is not much in my case, but for some this could be good news.

Nothing for me yet.
I assume this refers to payment of US player balances at Full Tilt Poker.
I haven't paid a lot of attention, but I'm scheduled to receive my balance amount plus the value of my tournament tickets as calculated by FTP around the time of the 2011 shutdown.
Points remain stuck on the site, and I probably lost some Ironman value and maybe rakeback near the end.
Not sure yet how I'll spend the money, but I've been looking at Mazda MX-5s.

I received an email yesterday from the Full Tilt Claims Administrator "to inform [me] that [my] Petition for Remission has been approved and [I am] entitled to receive a distribution from the assets forfeited in connection with United States v. PokerStars, et al., pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York." It further goes on to say that the payment will be made in the next seven business days.
That is excellent news, not so much for me as for others. I didn't have nearly the bank on FTP as I did PS, but I know several who did have quite a bit of money on FTP when the feds seized the site and the assets.

Definitely bad title here. Makes it sound like PokerStars was at fault for this debacle instead of being Full Tilt's savior. Thank god I had 99% of my balance in PS vs. Full Tilt. Unfortunately, I have not seen this test deposit or an email saying my petition was approved. :(

PokerStars paid U.S. players starting in April 2011. That has long past. These payments are for what PS put up for U.S. FTP payments. These should go out starting Friday.

That's the problem with on-line poker rooms. Counterfeit chips in tournaments, players left holding the bag, etc.

Nor give the heart

Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it

I think that's understood. The FTP money that was seized is being paid by PS as they bailed out FTP in the deal they worked out with the feds.
As you stated, the original seized PS funds were paid put by PS a long time ago.

luckily all my money was on PS. Does anyone know if they are paying out the full amount players had or is it just a portion.
Also there were a lot of people at the begginning that were buying full tilt money for 20 cents on the dollar. I wonder what the people who sold will do? Wont PS pay the original people, now the people who bought will have to try to collect.

I think they are paying out at 100% but I couldn't remember my exact balance when the site went down so I could be wrong.
If the original player filed the claim, then the FTP payment (administed by PS) will go to them. I don't remember a way to designate a new payee when I filed the claim, but I suppose there could have been.
