I read wizard's testament to this online casino, and how it pays US residents via 4-7 day courier. My question is, how do I make a deposit from the US if I wanted to play there?

Western Union or Moneygram have 100% acceptance. You may also find that a debit card or prepaid card works. In some states you will have to deposit by WU/MG only. I suggest that you deposit by WU/MG because that option would then be available for withdrawals. I think they also cover fees on deposits of $250+ (maybe it's $300?).

Bovada checks take about 2 weeks right now but WU/MG take 1-2 days. You do get one free check per month though where WU/MG have a fee of 10% +/- for withdrawal.

In other words, unless you can find a game where you can beat the House Advantage by more than 10 percent, find a local casino where you get paid immediately.

Until it is legal, you are just taking far too many risks by playing online. And if you do still play, expect nothing more than a total loss of you money, win or lose, and you will be fine.

One caveat regarding bonuses - the Wizard's endorsements are well out of date.

No game in which opposite betting is possible counts toward rollover. That means no craps, roulette, baccarat, or sic bo, no matter how you bet. Pontoon doesn't appear to be excluded anymore, and Carribean 21, as far as I can tell, no longer exists, but single- and double-deck blackjack are excluded as well. So basically, "just no opposite betting" is an outright falsehood. (Pick 'Em Poker is, curiously, not excluded, even though as long as they give back $5 for every $5,000 bet in it, I believe it's actually got a very slight player edge - I guess they think the high variance would make it unattractive to those primarily there to "wash" their bonus money.) Also, match play rollovers are now 80x, not 20x. (Although this is 80x the bonus, not, as I once thought, 80x both, but you do lose your deposit until it's complete.) And the standard rollovers for most bonuses that aren't match bonuses are now 20x (not 15x) in the casino, 3x (not 1x) in sports, and still 3 points in poker.

Another note - if you are going to play casino games, get the downloadable client. It's got much better video poker, some fun table games (like a version of Spanish called "Match Play"), and 3x odds rather than 2x in craps. Although do note if you're going to play craps that payouts are rounded down to the nearest quarter (the help says "dollar," but it's definitely quarter), so keep that in mind when taking odds.
The trick to poker is learning not to beat yourself up for your mistakes too much, and certainly not too little, but just the right amount.
