Chris Ramsay has posted a youtube video titled "The Most ADVANCED Card Cheating Device in History" and it seems to be the real deal. Highly suggest you watch the first 30 seconds to see how this thing works in practice. Have we finally figured out how our man MDawg can win so frequently? Curiously have casinos known about this tech for a long period of time and that's why many of them don't allow phones at the tables?

stuff has been around for a long time i bet if you searched my post history long enough i probably posted something about it ...

just dont play private games i guess because it would be alot harder to get a deck like that into a casino...

the prior tech to that one uses a hidden camera in a cieling fan and the cards are marked with ink thats only visible in infrared light i think

now that i watch the video i can tell that the sides of the cards are marked with the ink and the phone is reading a type of "code" off of the sides of the cards

i personally find this cheating device to be even more interesting though

There are of course secondary reasons, like confounding a Tran organization style attack on game integrity, where the phone is used to signal the players how to wager and play.
May the cards fall in your favor.

I've designed a pair of clear eyeglasses that have just a milimeter of treated glass disguised along the bifocal line.. You mark the back of the card with a chemical, and if you look at the card through the small, treated part you can see the chemical.

designed in my mind, go ahead and steal it.

When I was a kid there were a couple decks of marked cards around. So I'd have to squint at the other person's hand to try to read their cards. I think it works good in games like Go Fish. But I was such a terrible card player even without marked cards that kids would try to sit one spot after to me to get my discards. I can't shuffle cards either, I'd delegate it to someone else.
I was thinking yesterday about these poker players who've got nothing better to do than to twiddle poker chips amongst their fingers, that it's such an imposing skill that newbies should run away from the table.

Mine are special, as they are clear needing only a tiny portion of glass that might be easily missed by an inspection.

I think it would be difficult to take advantage of marked cards at Texas Hold'em in any casino or poker room, given the 'burn cards" and the way that poker players tend to handle their two hole cards

Theoretically, marking cards at BJ would be more advantageous because information on the dealer's face down card could be exploited. And any table games such as Miss Stud, that deal common cards face down first and then turn them up later, could theoretically be exploited. Of course, casinos have countermeasures.
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.
