This is something that irks me that I want to get off my chest. In the other thread, I read about DI's playing the "all Tall, all Small, and all or nothing" bets, as well as the Fire bets which are quite frankly, horrible! All small = 2,3,4,5,6 before a seven. All tall = 8,9,10,11,12 before a seven, All or nothing is every number will hit before a seven. These bets have huge payoffs, but they are horrible! It pains me to see people making $5 Fire bets only to see them seven out after two rolls. For those who don't know, the Fire Bet is a bet that the shooter will make three or more separate point numbers before a seven out.
The house edge on the All Tall/Small bets and the all or nothing is around 6%. The Fire Bet has a whopping house edge of around 25%. These bets are horrible for those seeking an advantage.
If you have faith as a Dice Setter, your best bets are line/come bets with max odds. At my casino they allow 10x odds which drops the house edge to around 0.184%. Your next best bet is Placing the Six and Eight, which the house edge can be overcome with a SRR of only about 6.15.
Better yet, you fare better playing the Don't side and trying to seven out right away. But this is counterproductive, because you want to hold the dice for as long as you can. In a bubble, where I am the only shooter at the table, I'd put a huge Don't Pass bet up, then attempt to seven out right away. This, I believe is the best way to execute DI. You'd only have to avoid big red for that first roll, then you want it!

I miss the connection you're trying to make.
Yes, the Fire and All bets are terrible and should be avoided - but that's whether you're a DI or not.
Frankly, many people think the Fire and All bets are fun. I fail to see how being a DI changes that.

Here is what OP is trying to say:
"DIs who think or claim they can get an advantage out of the suckerbets are complete idiots."

DI's don't seem to be very confidant. Usually they are betting red chips and run out the door as soon as they get ahead a few bucks.
You rarely see a legitimate AP who's been invited to come play how they want, for as much as they want and as long a they want betting red chips and running out the door as soon as they hit some low target amount.
Can you imagine if casinos had good rules, large spreads and card counting Fridays? There wouldn't be an empty BJ seat in the casino and guys would be there 24 hours straight.
DI's basically have this situation 24/7 365. However they are messing around on all the forums trying to convince us DI works.
