I am trying to understand a dice game (they called it sic-bo?) as shown in https://wizardofodds.com/games/sic-bo/
I read many articles on this type of game, some articles said when the triple turns out but you bet on something other than triple, you lost. I am wondering if this is universal rule or not. What happens if I bet on DOUBLE 4 (at least 2 dices of point 3) but turns out to be TRIPLE 4, do I win or lost? By looking at the math at https://wizardofodds.com/games/sic-bo/, the probability of winning double of specific point is about 0.074074, this number looks like that even triple 4 turns out, it still count double 4 wins, isn't it?
BTW, if triple 4 turns out and I bet on double 4, how many wins do I obtain? because there are 3 4-point, it could makes 3 pairs of 4, so do I win the double 3 times or just once?

I'm pretty sure that only the even-money bets lose on a triple, and the double bets (e.g. double 6s) only pay once if a triple is rolled.
