Through the years; I feel like Craps players who do not touch the Dice are more in tuned with the game than everybody else on the table. I have met a lot of knowledgeable Craps players through the years and the one consistent thing I notice about most of them is they never touch the dice.

In the past 3 years, I have met about 5 different Craps players who pressed their bets up during hot streaks on the table at a rapid rate and did very well on the table; the consistent thing about all of them is they were all older and they all refused to touch the dice.

Personally, I am very close to never touching a pair of Dice again. As you can tell by my lengthy posts about Craps; I have an unhealthy addiction to the game. As the shooter, the constant Point 7 Outs (PSO) are wearing very thin on me and whenever I have a decent roll (Very rarely); I am usually the one who makes the least money on the table due to my ultra conservative betting nature when I am the shooter.

More importantly.....I get way too angry at myself when I 7-out too quickly; it's very unhealthy and defeats the purpose of playing the game. Craps is supposed to be entertaining...what's the point of playing if you are going to drive yourself crazy most of the time you play? I am not going to quit playing...perish the thought...but I think it may be time to stop shooting the Dice. I will probably have guaranteed longer sessions if I just pass the dice.....

There are a lot of people that can't do two things at once, and you find this on the craps table all the time. I consistently see players that never pick up the dice winning at craps! They can focus on what is happening on the table and bet accordingly. There is no emotional attachment to how they are playing, if the table is cold they will play the dark side of the table, on hot tables they are on the right side and when the table is choppy, they have their money off the table, unless they make one or two bets and take them right back off when they hit them.

If you have a hot shooter on the table why not pass the dice back to them, all to often you only have one shooter on the table that is making points every time the dice go to them, but everybody thinks they can do the same thing and that's where you see the quick seven out right after a hot roll.

Your best option is to just wait it out till the dice goes back to the same shooter or better yet, just leave!
For some players that isn't an option at all, case in point, in Fl. Where they only have craps on the high seas, three miles off the coast. The players are stuck with nothing else to do, they can't just leave and hit the next casino!

The guys that are not shooting, has no pressure them to perform, and are only playing the game for themselves, unlike the shooters that feel they are hurting others when they seven out.
Most players of the game of craps will never get it,..you are playing the game for yourself, not the other players on the table. You didn't cost them anything, they cost themselves money by betting on you!

I still get a kick out of the players that think a new woman shooter is lucky, when you have a guy that on the last three rolls had rolls in the forties standing there waiting for the dice to get back to them and this new shooter walled up to the table, and someone insisted that she shoot,..even putting the chips up for her to shoot, when the dice were going to the hot shooter of the night.

The only redeeming thing about that scenario, is the player that put the new shooter on the table bets all their chips on the new lucky shooter that they just had to have on the table,..only to lose everything! Next shooter please!!!

I think this may be the biggest reason for my recent downfall in Craps. Before moving to *Florida with my wife a couple of years ago, I lived in the Washington D.C area and went to Atlantic City once every couple of weeks to link up with my childhood friends from NY to play Craps; I would allocate about 12 hours to play each session; I did pretty well for the most part; I was usually the "hottest" shooter in most sessions and usually the table will pass the dice back to me all the time...

Since moving down here to Florida; my only option is these Casino Boats (COLD TABLES ALL DAY) where I am stuck for 5 hours with no other options so when I start losing at the Craps table; I can't just walk away especially after having driven 100s of miles each way just to play there. I've been on over 20 of these Casino Cruises in two different locations in Florida and I can truly say only a handful (5?) have been decent.

Now when I get to go to a Land Based Casino which happens an average of once every 6 weeks when I am out of town with my wife; I am so hyped to be on a Land Based casino that I follow the same pitfalls on the Casino Cruises by not being patient enough on a table knowing I only have a few hours (4 - 6 hours) to play.

I really miss my routine of knowing I will be on a Land Based Casino with several Casinos nearby every two weeks with a full 12 hour session to play...it's really messing my game up. I think the solution is to NOT go on these casino boats anymore..and try to get junkets to Casinos Towns (Vegas, AC, Biloxi, etc) because paying out of pocket to fly to play craps can get very expensive. The junket offers I receive are always for a minimum of 4 days which is way too long. A 2 day offer would be ideal!

If we eventually move back up North or Florida ever makes Craps legal in all the Casinos near us allowing me to get back into my normal routine; they are going to feel the PAIN!

* - I HATE living in Florida. My luck has been absolutely awful since moving down here two years ago in almost every aspect of my life....
