lets say it's $5 min, 5x odds (.3% house edge).

if you only do pass line, it's .3% house edge.

but if you do continuous come bets, then you win back $5 when the 7 appears.

the house edge must be lower since you lose $5 less, right?
If so, then what's the HE?

If not, then where's the hole in my logic?

The house edge is the same. The $5 "rebate" is factored into the house edge.

You don't always lose $5 less. Consider the sequence 5, 4, 3, 6, 12, 7. $5 pass + odds loses $30. Pass + come bets lose $95.

ah.. so the house edge is higher if you do not do continuous Come bets?
ie: pass line and only 2 come bets (all max odds)?

Each bet's chances are as if the bet has an independent life, even though they might all be killed or won by the same 7-out depending on if it's continuous come or don't come. In other words, if you instead waited for resolution before making another line bet, though making the same number of bets, in the long run it would be a distinction without a difference.
