commission = 5%, get paid AFTER the # is hit
$20 on the 4 gets you 40 -1 commision = $39.
What about $25? (assume smallest chip is $1)
gets rounded up?
That lowers the HE to 1/75 or 1.33 as the HE for a $20 Buy4 is 1/60 or 1.67%
A $50 Buy4 should pay $2.50 vig. The box may charge you 2 the first time and $3 the next time.
Some will also charge you $5 for a $50 Buy4 and $50 Buy10 at the same time.
It is their casino and game so they can round down and up as they wish.
They may still charge $1 for $30 Buy4, but maybe just the first time and then charge you $2 on the next time.
Really depends on the box. They know you want to pay as little as possible so be nice to the dealers and the box.
of course, craps machines will charge you to the penny, so it is harder to push the odds.

I see more and more computer-entry craps tables and "$lot-Crap$" in the future. No need to pay dealers; no lowered profits from "pressing the house"; no security calls over some inebriated bullshit. I see the end of bulky, expensive Craps tables and all of their attendant drunken obnoxiousness within in 20 years - mark me.

No More physical Craps Tables??? Perish the thought!
i think that the tables will still be around in twenty years,
i do not doubt that the internet generation prefers the clean sterile impersonal experience of playing craps on a terminal,
but i think it will take longer than twenty years for the robots to take over.
also, the casinos are still making money on the tables,
the high rollers prefer the real deal,
and it is one source of excitement on a casino floor that acts as an advertisement for the illusion of winning.

I was once involved in the 'paper' industry.
People said that the wheel was the greatest invention.
In the paper industry we said it was PAPER!
You probably have more paper in your house than wheels.

If this were to happen it would be a good thing for me. Since I get ZERO thrill from playing craps on a machine, I will have no problems giving up playing craps when they roll away the real tables, with real players, and real dealers, even if some of them are SOBs at times. And yes, them was ambiguous on purpose :-)

The only paper we use is napkins and towels. Our offshore sites aren't even allowed to have printers on the premises, and domestic processes have followed suit. I have gladly accepted the replacement of folders and paper checklists with imaging software, excel checklists and electronic work baskets. But I guess the paper industry is glad that the legal and medical industries are around. They'll never modernize it seems.
But yeah, you cannot completely get rid of physical craps...the social aspect is too important, and that's what attracts new players. E-craps is great for antisocial Don't bettors.
