Well, Bob, I'll bet you certainly get first class service whenever you drive up to a dice game...not!

What does that mean? And where do they have
drive up dice games?

I don't know but swim up blackjack is making a comeback and some casinos are installing a mini-casino next to the pool area so that a variety of games may be played with minimal transition, so who knows... a drive up craps game may be in the offing somewhere soon. Maybe on that Desert Express that will be sure to fail.

LMAO@ Bob trolling in this thread.......

As to the OP.....It wasn't the dealers who were making comments it was the boxman correct?....this is probably because it was a full game and you where having one of his dealers move thing around slowing the game....the dice were probably sitting in the middle longer than normal because of your bets.....Its his(boxman) responsibility to keep the game moving....Players get pissed when the game slows down and the casino doesn't make as much money.....No one want to be the boxman with the lowest totals for the night/week/month.

Saying all that...It's your money and you should play it how you want too!.. If the boxman doesn't like it, he can fuck off!!!!...but understand he might not be nice to you in the process...

I was trying out piggybacking DC bets yesterday. There was absolutely no problem with the significantly additional time to place the bets and their accompanying odds on the layout nor to pay them off. Surprising how that works, eh?

ya but you are adding money to the layout....he was just moving it around....I don't think any boxman is gonna be mad the game is slowed because of more bets....just if it is slowed and nothing is being added to the layout

Why are craps dealers more grumpy than the roullette or BJ dealers?

I wish I knew... but I agree with you. While I have encountered a handful of very helpful, entertaining, and jovial craps dealers, most of them are unhappy pricks.

i just played at four casinos in AC
on the graveyard shift monday night.
i have to say the older white guys seem to be the worst.
my guess is that it is a combination of
boredom, back pain,
low tips, and middle age.

Yeah, my first trip to Vegas a dealer said to his table-mates "Seven Elevens are beginning to look good" meaning robbery.
When I commented on his free breakfast perk there was general amusement at the eggs and sausage for five years without the slightest variation.

I have noticed that at some casinos more and more crew members have developed this "It's us versus you" demeanor, which is annoying.

I understand that they work for tips, and that many players never tip, so the crew has become jaded. They formulate opinions and assumptions about players the moment they buy in... It's their right to do so, but to carry an air of superiority about their role as a CRAPS DEALER, is simply comical.

i always have a much better attitude from the dealers
just by tossing a twoway hardway out for them on my first hit.
and each of my winning turns thereafter.
i always stand at dealer 1 and by talking to the dealer,
i usually have a pretty easy time winning them over.
but yes, you have to work on them.
i cannot tell you how many times they forget to move my come bets to 4/10,
or pay a come as a field when i accidentally straddle the line....
