Come Bet w/max odds

On WoV free games, it allows you after the come out roll and a point is established to place come bets w/max odds on all numbers without making the actual come bet, then it stopped me from placing all numbers and allowed me to place come bets w/max odds on the 4,6, and 8.

I don't think this is a good bet, but wondered if it would be allowed at a casino or is it just a glitch in the program?

The making come bets with max odds straight to the number after the point is established is called a "put" bet and is allowed in most, but not all, casinos. It is not a better bet than a regular come bet, but can be better than a place bet depending on the odds multiple offered.

I don't see why a casino would stop you from making place and put bets simultaneously, but it is unproductive unless you reach the maximum bet on either wager. If you really wanted to go "all the way" to a number, you could make a put, buy, place, and maybe even a come with max odds, all for the table maximum.

I've noticed that, too, when I play the Wizard's craps program. However, it only lets you directly "Put" on box numbers which have not yet been "up" for Come bets since you logged on, i.e. your restriction to the 4, 6, and 8 probably happened because you had made Come bets which were then moved to the 5, 9, and 10. That's been my experience with the WoO program, and it seems like a glitch only. I can't imagine why such a restriction would be a "rule".
