For one night, you could have been playing the Dark Side. Give it a try sometime.

I was having a good night the only time I switched to the "Dark Side"...it worked out well for me during a lull between good runs with lots of points made. The table was rolling, $100 buy-in went to $500 in a couple of hours of steady hits (too bad I am not more aggressive...it would have worked that night), but then the table went cold. It was a $5 table that stays full, so leaving was not a good option. I set a "downside" limit of $400, so I had $100 to play with. Switching to the "Dark Side" kept me level and a little ahead for an hour or so until points started being made regularly again. I simply switched back over and went from $500 to $1100. Just that easy...

Well, of course it wasn't really that easy. I had to pick the right time to switch (luck or whatever the acceptable term is) between sides. Switching early or late would have ended in me hitting the $400 mark and leaving rather than playing on. So, it is still a risk...but perhaps a trip to the "dark side" may work for you...at least sometimes!!

Good Luck!!

Just so I get the lingo correct... there were 25 points established... and all 25 of those points sevened out before being made? I get the odds of that at roughly 1 in a half million. Bad night...

How about the play before the point was established--did you have more pass line winners than losers there or was that bad, too? I've had some nights full of sevens go okay because the sevens fell on both ends of the pass line bet and others where the 2, 3, 12 ate me alive and then the 7 only showed up when a point was established.

The come outs were about right I guess 2 to 1 in favor of the shooter. The only thing that got me through 25 points not being passed before my bankroll busted, was some of the shooters were taking a lot rolls before 7'ed out! And I was playing like 2 or 3 come bets with full odds(3-4-5X). So I would sometimes hit 2 or 3 or 4 come bet points before the P/L bet 7'ed out. So It's not like I was losing money on every shooter. If I was only making a P/L bet with odds I would have NEVER made it through 25 shooters with no points passed LOL

I've seen 7-outs happen 11 and 13 times in a row within the past year... I've never seen someone Point any more than 9...

Fun game, great way to lose money. :)
