Quick question: If the craps table minimum is raised to $25, $50, or $100, are the minimums for inside bets (hardways, hops, etc.) also raised?
Normally, you are allowed to bet a $1 hard six when the table is a $5 or $10 minimum. But what happens if the table is raised to a $100 minimum? Are you still allowed to play a $100 passline and a $1 hard six?

unfortunately I dont know the answer to this question because I have never played at a $100 craps table LOL.....But I have played at a $25 craps table at the Bellagio, and the prop bets were still $1. But is funny when you are playing with people at a $25 craps table how almost NO bets go on the props. If you are smart enough to play big money craps you are smart enough to stay away from the middle of the table LOL. Not that $25 craps table is big money but I think you get my point!

I never asked, but I did ask a boxman a similar question:
If the minimum is $25, can I bet $24 on the 6/8 place bets?
The answer was, if I was a regular, or had several other bet, it would be OK.
Based on that, and that you said you'd have other bets up, and that the junk in the middle is high house edge, I doubt they'd do anything to discourage it.

Center bets or prop bets.. so as not to be confused with the Inside numbers 5,6 8,9.Quote: gamblerare the minimums for inside bets (hardways, hops, etc.) also raised?

Yeah, the entire table minimums are raised as well. In response to the question if a player would be allowed to make a $24 place bet on 6 or 8 at a $25 minimum game the answer is no...$30 would be the least allowed. Most $25 games, (if the box man is alert enough) don't carry a whole lot of $1 chips in the House bankroll, so the smallest denomination used regularly is $5 and that's what has to be bet in the props. C&E, Hi-Lo...any split prop bet is a $10 minimum. I'm sorry, but I can't remember what a minimum Horn costs...I'm assuming it's $20...brain-fart...lol.

Agreed. $24 would just be annoying to deal with the white in the bets and the payoffs...

at a $25 table, i had a box insist on not letting me bet $24 on 6/8,
so i said ok i will bet $25 on it.
he tried to tell me i would have to bet $30 to get paid $35.
i told him i could bet the minimum and get paid $29
(7:6 = $28 on $24, 1:1 on $1)
then he tried telling me i couldn't do that either.
i told him i would be happy to call the gaming commission to see who was right.
i got my way...
i ended up betting $30 most of the time anyway,
but it was funny to watch the little napolean turn red in the face
