Staying there Thurs-Sun. Will I find a $5 table available during some or all of this time?

Direct, succinct and, alas, truthful. Even early in the morning when things are slow and table limits are at the lowest, the Bellagio will not be offering a five dollar craps table. Not going to happen! Look for it if you would like to, but it ain't gonna happen. Not that low if you are at the Bellagio.

You'll have to cross the street. You might be able to find one at Paris or Bally's if you go early in the day. You should be able to find one at Bill's a little easier. It'll be hard on Friday night or Saturday night anywhere.

I've seen $5 craps at bally's even in the early evening on weekdays (in 2009). Bill's ought to have it for sure, and Rapid Craps from $3, too.

If you want to play at an MGM property, try Excalibur or Luxor.

Bally's and Flamingo were @ $10 early in the morning last Friday...

Bill's had $3 EZCrappy (that game stinks, in my opinion) and $5 on a regular table
O'Sheas had $5
Both of those between 8-10 a.m.

Casino Royale had $3 Wednesday night and Thursday morning; they switched to $5 for the rest of the weekend

V/P was $10 early Thursday a.m.

TI had $5 at least Thursday a.m.; they were at $10 all evenings.

Tropicana had $5 Saturday a.m. and the floor person told me they pretty much ran a $5 table and a $10 table...

It was a busy weekend (NASCAR) so things went up as more people headed in...hope that helps!!

Don't care where I play, although we'll be staying at the Bellagio, so around there is better than away from there.

I'll play $10 limit & play full odds, but that will be a little too rich for some in my group. not expecting it Fri & Sat night, but thought there might be a chance on Thurs or days.

Any other recommendations?

See above...but Casino Royale offered 20x odds before 10 a.m. and 100x after that...

If at the Bellagio, walk over to Bills Saloon, nice tables.

Got to second that.
Bills has good low limits and good dealers in my times there.

For a real slow paced craps game, try Bills Rapid Craps.

Might as well go to Bills or down the street to Casino Royale. Trouble with Bellagio is that the only rate one bet on a roll, so you might have $200 on the table and get rated for $30. I let my wife rack up the comps at Bellagio and play elsewhere.

Approximately one year ago I spent two day-trips in Vegas from mon-tue and wed-thur. I was up at the Bellagio to do some sports betting for a majority of the days (best book in town imo - free beverages). It was pretty uniformly $10 during non-peak times with the occasional $25 limit. Others have given random suggestions and mine would be casino royale - or bill's if you don't want to deal with the royale.

For the budget-conscious craps player, El Cortez has $3 and the Western has $1. Be sure to bring your mace and Purell.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean if you place a bet and keep pressing, they will only rate you for your original bet? Just curious.

Paris across the street should have $5 tables in the mornings. They will up to $10 by noon. I don't like playing Craps at Bellagio... dice move too fast and I always felt rushed.

No, say you place $30 on the 6 and the 8. You'll only be rated for $30, not for $60. If, on the next come out, you press them both to $60 for a total of $120, you'll only be rated for $60. If someone has found out something different, let us know.
