I've heard all the rumors, stories and definite maybe's but why don't we have THE FACTS. Just the facts please!!! It's been about 11 years and we know nothing. We know Patricia Demauro and 154 rolls, 4 hrs 18 minutes. That's it!!!

I think it's odd that we know very little about the roll. Borgata obviously has video of the whole thing. Let us know how much was won, how many points were made, how many sevens, how many no rolls, dice out, etc. Use actors to reenact it!!! No one needs to know who was there unless they want to be interviewed. I think I would. Did anyone have the AT&S or Fire bet!! Patricia Demauro is in her early 80's now. It's just weird.

Obviously, everyone needs to give their permission and a 3rd party needs to want to document it.

No stories. Just facts please. Thank you

I have a thread that dates back ten years but nothing there worth rehashing.

There is no value to us today about this after ascertaining there was no hanky panky , neither was there any influence. Move along, nothing to see here.

I remember reading at the time a Borgata dealer saying he was at that table, and although the table was full, nobody really knew how to play.

Bottom line, they lost a lot at that table, but nowhere near what they should have.

Just saw another Internet discussion about this and once again there's a lack of facts.

The latest discussion said the total win at the table was a paltry $38,000.

Other articles on the web say Patricia Demauro herself won $180,000 yet another web article says she placed only the 6 and 8 for $12 each and didnt press either bet during the first 90 minutes.

I was at a long roll at a $10 table once and just had the 6 & 8 out as bets and they just were not hitting. Just pick 2 box numbers not to hit in 20-30 rolls and you get the idea.

i was at casino royale almost 2 decades ago. 100x odds, $2500 max per bet (thus $25max for each pass/come bet?).
1 1/2 hr roll.

heard one of the players maxxed out to the point where he couldnt tip on the passline for the dealer.
he asked the player next to him if he could put a $1 passline+odds bet for the dealer next to her bet.

unfortunately, i was at the other table. :(

next day, one of the dealers said they lost about $100k for that roll.

A number of years ago I got to a table at the Monte Carlo (when it was the Monte Carlo!), but I got there too late. Shooter must have had a tremendous roll because a number of the people there (and believe me it was as crowded as a table can be) seemed to be in love with the guy. They all seemed to have full racks of multicolored chips. The shooters name was Lennie because the guy beside me kept moaning "Ohhhh Lennie" as he continued to avoid the devil.

Like I said, I was too late, the inevitable happened soon after.

I can't even guess what the Monte Carlo lost on that roll.

I once saw a statistic that the average strip casino has a NET WIN of only a quarter million dollars a day. That's a net win of $250,000.

I'm going to try to find that info again. I think it would explain a lot about casinos sweating card counters, $100k royals, long rolls at craps tables, etc.

Edited to add:

I found this article which put the win at about $662,000. Still not a huge amount of money if someone hit the casino for a $100,000 jackpot.
