Best advice ever about sucker bets was the dealer who told a man who was hesitant to follow his wife's advice "It is a sucker bet but it can hit and if you do not bet it and it does hit you will never hear the end of it."

It has to be a pain to track for the crew, though. They have little discs, smaller than a dime, they use to mark each throw. They have to remember to mark every throw. And each number pays individually or in a group, kind of like roulette, but each number has different odds and different numbers of hits, so they have to pay off weird amounts.
Idk if it will catch on because of the workload, but I like the bet.
Quote: beachbumbabsRepeater is pretty fun. I did well on it the one time I played it. No math to offer, though, sorry

The Repeater, Fire Bet and new pay table ATS are all around 20% against you. Still like the bet???
I’m thinking the bean counters really like the bet!
finally looked at this myself and Repeater is in there, HE = nosebleed levelQuote: odiousgambit... check this out

Quote:Repeater
Repeater is a set of craps side bets I noticed at the Suncoast casino in Las Vegas on April 6, 2015. The idea is that the player must roll a given number a specified number of times before a seven. For bets on 2 to 6, the player must roll that total the same number of times as the total itself. For example, for the bet on the number five to win, the shooter must roll 5 fives before a seven. For totals of 8 to 12, the player must roll the total 14 less whatever the total is. For example, on a total of 11, the player must roll an eleven 14-11=3 times before a seven.

I'm sure the bean counters love it.
It's very fun to play. I've only done it once.
I was on the good side of variance, and made about $250 on it in about an hour, betting all the numbers.
So, for entertainment, I like it a lot.
define "the BEST bonus bet"Quote: VegasHardwayI was looking around the forum for the odds comparing the different bonus bets (which is the best bonus bet?) and I wasn't able to locate a comparison between the repeater bets and the ATS.
small or tall 1 chance in 37.94503Quote: VegasHardwayFor example broken down to the Tall vs. hitting a repeater bet 9 (rolling a 9 five times before a 7 out).. Basically which would have better odds -- For example the repeater 9 vs. hitting the Tall or the small?
(ALL is 1 chance in 190.1971)
(rolling a 9 five times before a 7 out) is this the rule you understand?
it is totally against the company website
https://www.sggaming.com/Games/Shuffle-Master/Table-Games/Craps-Side-Bets/Repeater-Bets-18058
that says this
"Repeater Bets win if the number wagered is rolled a predetermined number of times (sequentially or not), and lose if seven is rolled. "
rolling a 9 five times before a 7 is just
a=4/10;
a^5 = 32/3125 = 1 chance in 97.65625
why do you not seem to care what each winning bet pays?
or do you care?
such an interesting type question if you do not care about the house edge of each bet.
repeaters (2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12) or just $10.
Caesars, Ballys, Paris and probably other casinos in LAS have made the
Repeater Bet require a minimum of $5 per repeater. Unfortunately,
that makes it A LOT less fun: repeated $60 gifts to a corp. that keeps
getting greedier with its odds and other player "Rewards".
