Going to try to roll the dice one time at 15 casinos next week. What's my best bet if I feel comfortable with $30-35 on the table? Don't Pass with max odds?

Everything on the Pass or Don't Pass.

Seems to me like it would have to be the Pass because the math says you are more likely to roll a 7 than any other number? Now, if you don't roll a 7 on the comeout but roll a point, then it would have to be the Don't Pass? But a number or craps on the comout is of course hindsight. Maybe it depends on factors other than math depending on the shooters goal?

Wait! Using my convoluted logic it would have to be the Don't Pass, because the odds are you will roll a number before a 7. Sorry.

"One time" as in 1)a single throw, 2)one pass line resolution, or 3)until you 7-out?Quote: SlimCharlesGoing to try to roll the dice one time at 15 casinos next week. What's my best bet if I feel comfortable with $30-35 on the table?
1) This may be awkward. I've seen people pass the dice during a roll once or twice. I've never seen one throw and then a "mic drop," but that very well may be a fun way to go. I'd put it all on the Field (find a table that triples the 2 or 12) since it has the lowest HE of all bets that resolve in a single throw.
2) Put it all on the DP. If you seven-out, you bank the win & the dice get passed to the next shooter. Done. If you throw a winner or make your point, well now you are out of money, and the dice get passed. Done.
3) Put it all on the Pass Line and ride it till it bucks you off.
Well, technically, that's two bets.Quote:Don't Pass with max odds?

Go with either Pass or Don't Pass. The difference is what, a penny per $100 wager? Of course you'll get more bang for the buck with your $30-$35 stake with Pass since you're taking odds instead of laying them.

Take 36 and place the 6 or 8 after the point comes out.

The best bet will be either pass or don't pass (minimal difference) with maximum odds. I'd suggest a $10 line bet. Assuming max odds are 2x (likely for a low stakes table), you'll need $30 for pass/don't with max odds.. That leaves you with $5. I'd add a buck and place $6 on 6 or 8.
