3/4/5x odds
i used to be a Passline + 2 come bets player. (all max odds)
then adding more Come bets if I start winning.
but I got tired of not being able to remove all my bets once my win goal $ has been reached.
so I went to a single large don't pass bet.
then I thought "why not a single large Passline bet"?
then I found out from this post:
https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/questions-and-answers/math/21313-probability-of-winning-5-passline-bets-or-9-dont-pass-bets/#post439887
- odds of winning 9 Don't passes in a row is about the same as the odds of winning 5 Passlines in a row.
- 1 in a 100, and you win the same amount of $ in the end.
i realized that I don't have the mental fortitude to keep pressing 9 times in a row.
I chickened out and colored up after my 7th win in a row-> $70 don't pass/$420 odds
(i started at $15 don't pass/$90 odds.)
i was mentally worn at that point.
I think it's a lot easier mentally to keep pressing 5 times in a row.
