I have been following this site for awhile and realize betting systems are worthless but I would like to ask the community if they had tried this system and have gotten any luck.

By multiples of 2 I mean betting on the pass or dont only with a base bet.
If the minimum bet is $3 the betting formula would be: 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192
If the minimum bet is $5 the betting formula would be: 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160, 320

Assuming your bank roll is sufficient enough to maintain this, What are the chances of missing 7 in a row with this method betting on only the pass and don't pass? Is this too risky?

Edit: This may be in the wrong section, I am new to the forum and don't know how to move it to the betting system section.

Smells like a Martingale, but not quite. Your chances of losing 7 decisions in a row is .495^7 (roughly 0.00728176053 or 7 times in a thousand; I make no claim to be a mathematician), but it is possible. Your bankroll would need to be sufficient to sustain double your largest loss, and you would likely bump into table limits if you started with a higher base bet or if the streak went on for 9 or 10 events.
If government is the answer, it must have been a very stupid question.

If you win before 7 losses in a row, the amount of your win minus the amount of your losses always equals your initial bet. On the other hand, if you lose 7 in a row, the total losses equals 127 times your bet. The probability of losing 7 in a row is about 1 in 116.

What you are doing is, you are letting the casino bet on an event that has a probability of 1/116, but it pays 127-1. Who do you think has the advantage? (And no, the casino's advantage does not go down if you increase the number of losses allowed.)
