That sounds to me to be about the most boring way to play craps. Even worse, the player thinks he has an advantage.

There is no exciting way to play craps. Just a bunch of loudmouths contained in a small area of a casino.
Sometimes close to blackjack tables. If anybody deserves a private room, it's those noisy crap players.

That is sorta how I feel about Blackjack, but to each his own. IMHO, the best thing about Blackjack is that you can have about as much fun or more playing it on your smartphone, and with a precisely calculated House Advantage (in terms of real cash lost) of 0%. But everybody thinks they can beat Blackjack, though most Blackjack players that I know get comped quite a bit as the best reflection on how they are actually doing.
It is fun to watch Asian players play Blackjack since they typically split everything, including fours and fives.
