When betting the DP, what is the typical odds wager on points of 5/9 on a $5 or $15 wager on a straight 5X odds table?
It seems like it should be $38 on $5, but WinCraps auto-bets $39 ($25*3/2 = $37.50)
For $10, it's a nice round $75 (and WinCraps auto-bets $75 as expected).
For $15, it should be $113 ($75*3/2 = $112.5), but WinCraps auto-bets $120.
Just wondering if a casino will behave like WinCraps or follow the math. I've never wagered max odds at a straight 5X table but might be doing just that at Spirit Mountain in Grande Ronde, OR sometime in the next few weeks.
ETA - WinCraps does pay $26 on that $39, and $80 on the $120 which would seem contrary to 5X...

im not expert but myunderstanding is it is usually 3x4x5x not 5x on each#
4/10 = 3x
5/9 = 4x
6/8 = 5x
so 3x5(dp wager) is what you can win (15) so you lay 30 in odds
so 4x5(dp wager) is what you can win (20) so you lay 30 in odds
so 5x5(dp wager) is what you can win (25) so you lay 30 in odds
good luck

5x Odds work in such a way that the DP Odds wagered will payy 5x the DP wager.
4/10 DP$5 = $50 Odds (Win $25)
5/9 DP$5 = $36 Odds (Win $24)*
6/8 DP$5 = $30 Odds (Win $25)
* Some casinos allow you to "even" your DP wager to $6 This allows $45 Odds (Win $30)
A thought to consider... If you play the DP as 3-4-5x (Place 6x DP wager at all times) you still have a lower H.A. than a 5x Pass line + Odds Hero.

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

The local tribal casinos both use straight 5X odds and not the traditional 3-4-5X you see in LV.
$36 to win $24 on 5/9 would work, I guess the $39 to win $26 is to eliminate rounding - which is always done in favor of the house.
I usually play 3-4-3X to diminish losses on the 6 & 8, but the house edge is diminished the higher the odds wager.
3-4-5X odds has a greater house advantage than straight 5X, if you always bet max odds.
See the tables here: https://wizardofodds.com/games/craps/#toc-Strategy if you don't believe me.
