Is anyone else hitting Cold tables this weekend?

Some of the best shooters between both craps tables holding their own but not for long. This weekend has taken it's toll with the 7's in the winners circle.

Even the dark side players were taking a beating. It;s not over yet, we still got the rest of tonight and sunday. Hopefully things will turn around.

We didn't win tonight but we are enjoying our stay with more than 4 hrs of play time and way too many firebets that never came in. Nap time now then I go back for more.

sometimes when it just doesn't go your way, the best play is to walk away and try again at another time.

Good luck. When you come back to the table, go easy on those fire bets.

played DArk. couldn't get two 7 outs in a row.
even tho it's a 'hot' table, kept at it because of the math.
down $4000 at single $35dont/$210 odds :(

down $10k for the year and its only Feb. (first 6k in loses was playing $10 passline/continuous come w/max odds)

when I switch sides, it still goes against me (of course)

The math doesn't say that you won't have big swings. But everything does work out according to the math in the long run.

Also, don't feel bad. I once hit 5 points on the Fire Bet when I was shooting from the Don't....lol!

I only play DS and yes it sucks at times, but remember we are playing a negative expectation game. I am just trying to lower the odds as much as possible and looking to play as long as possible without the wipeout loss of my budget for the session. I consider myself well above expectations for the year since I am up on craps on 2 AC trips and a few Valley Forge trips YTD.....but it is only March and a long year ahead, again in a negative expectation game.

Overall, the math says both sides will lose. I don't really give a darn what happens to the other players at the table except for the occasional obnoxious dark-sider who annoys everyone at the table...everyone is there trying to get ahead against the casino, which has the advantage. I don't even care if a dark-sider cheers a bit; I just hate the ones who get nasty about it--usually someone playing a $5 bet...

It even works sometime!!

100xOdds "kept at it because of the math."you're doing the opposite of what the math says, because the math says you shouldn't play at all.

Perhaps your calculator is broken. However, I think there is a website called WoO that was started just for people with broke calculators.

You only learn that when you spend some real time in Las Vegas, which of course, you did. Or of course, when you deal craps for a period of time and learn that people have no self control and let emotions get involved in mathematical results based on infinity.

House edge is stupid, you'll never play 1 billion hands/throws anyway!

in other words, House edge = stupid
because "you'll never play 1 billion hands/throws anyway!"

you may not understand then what a "house edge" really is
the house edge is there and working on every win and loss
and stupid for whom?

example
pass line player betting $244 on a win (does not have to all on one bet)
should be paid $251 if the bet was fair.
that is an underpayment of $7 per every $244 wagered on average.
the bet is not fair for the pass line. (and for almost all casino bets)

still stupid is the house edge? not for the casino

it also means the same pass line player Losing a $244 bet (or totals of $244)
should not lose all $244 if the bet was fair
it should be 244/251 of $244
or for every $251 wagered and lost, the total loss of a fair bet should only be $241

short pay all players on a win and take too much from all players on a loss
boy, I sure hear that one a lot

I say house edge is not stupid
Oh, unless you have and show proof it is
